Film making has been a large part of Peter's life. From his first memory of being in the cinema at the age of five, seeing ET on the big screen made he wanted to create his own worlds, which then turned into film making. Peter loves to immerse himself in the art form of making films and be part of the whole process.
Director of Photography - It is his passion to take an idea and create something visually stunning. He wants the viewer to be drawn into the imagery, to forget they are a viewer and instead become part of the experience when watching my work.
Digital Colourist- He feels in these days of digital filmmaking that it is important for the cinematographer to digitally colour the film in the same way they would have by choosing specific film stock in the past.
Humdrum Films is Jacob Williams and Jared Kettle. They met in 2008 while studying Film & Digital Media at Deakin University. They’ve been co-conspirators ever since. Together, they have over 10 years of wedding experience behind them, and they feel incredibly lucky to have couples invite them into what is a very special day in their lives. It’s an enormous privilege to be entrusted to capture that memory for them. It’s not something they take lightly.
Humdrum was born as a creative outlet, a way for them to tell unique stories through the moving image. Their films are made out of moments. Some are small. Some are big. Some are happy. Some are sad. Some are loud. Some are quiet. And some can go unnoticed. So, to capture the best moments they don’t look in the obvious places. Instead, they seek those moments in the trees, in the aisle, in the car, in whispers, in the wind, in reflections. The precious (best, most special) moments aren’t where you think you’ll find them. These moments are the basis for READ MORE
Steve Hubbard is a ‘son of the west of the west’ who moved to Melbourne from Western Australia in 2007. For more than a decade Steve was the Sport, Recreation & Culture Manager with the City of Rockingham, before a two year stint at Brimbank Council in Melbourne’s West convinced him that it was time to re-career!
From 2010-2012 he studied a Masters of Marketing at Monash University and started using social media for community engagement and marketing communications in consultancy roles.
Since that time Steve has gone on to become ‘arguably’ Australia’s best ‘local social media marketer’ having provided social media marketing services for 150+ of predominantly Melbourne based micro-small businesses - including many well known franchise brands, branches of a major bank, a National sporting team, a political party and the Footscray Traders Association. Lorna-Jean Bradley is a professional editor with over 8 years experience working for Untitled Film Works. Having worked on many award winning films in wedding, corporate and documentary categories, she is passionate about the art of storytelling.
"I love editing because you are turning raw elements into something that affects people, you can make people laugh and cry and really connect to something that you created. I get a thrill every time an edit comes together and communicates a story. It’s that moment that drives me, and it gives me goosebumps when it just feels right and the music, the words, the images all just flow and create something beautiful. It’s awesome!"
